Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week (no 48-hour weeks accepted)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Every other weekend and holiday schedule required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Subject to low census and on-call status with 2-hour minimum call back
• Must have Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Must pass EKG test during first week of hire
• Minimum 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU) required
• 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips mandatory
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Care for 44-bed intermediate cardiac step-down unit patients
• Handle post-op CABG/Valve, thoracotomy, vascular procedures, arrhythmias, CHF cases
• Manage post-procedure cath, pacemaker, defibrillator, and ablation patients
• Typical patient ratio of 1:4
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
