Hospitalist Medical Director opportunity in Oxnard, CA

Position Highlights:
- Provide clinical oversight for the team while building strong relationships with our hospital partner leadership.
- Manage an open ICU, but no procedures are required for this role.
- Responsibilities include rounding, admissions, discharges, and cross coverage depending on the shift.
- Help manage two hospitals- a 265 bed and a 23-bed acute rehabilitation facility, and an 82 acute care bed and a 99-bed extended care unit.
- Administrative Days are offered.
- 7 days on/7 days off block scheduling or flexible scheduling.
- 12-hour clinical shifts.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
- Must have leadership experience in hospital medicine and at least 3+ years of hospitalist experience.
