Our client, a leading organization in the technology infrastructure sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician Lead to join their team. As a Data Center Technician Lead, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting critical data center functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Data Center Technician Lead

Pay Rate: $37.00/hr. - 42.00/hr
Ongoing contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM (Central Time)
What's the Job?
- Oversee hardware deployment, diagnostics, and decommissioning activities within enterprise data center environments.
- Manage task execution, perform complex upgrades and repairs, and ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Mentor technicians through on-the-job training, deliver technical lessons, and promote teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Conduct daily safety briefings, enforce PPE standards, and escalate safety or security concerns promptly.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize tasks, track progress, and maintain operational excellence across shifts.
What's Needed?
- At least 2 years of experience in a 24x7x365 data center environment.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or lead experience.
- Ability to meet security requirements, including background checks and security clearances.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb, and stand for extended periods, including participation in on-call rotations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
