Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of emergency room experience required
• January start date preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must be willing to obtain if offered)
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Care for patients of all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 200 patients in a 42-bed emergency department
• Must be available to work some holidays
• Ready to Offer (RTO) required with submission
• Skills include managing various emergency conditions such as trauma, cardiac events, respiratory issues, and psychiatric emergencies
• Perform procedures including IV starts, 12-lead EKGs, triage, medication administration, and patient monitoring
• Work with interdisciplinary support team including respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretaries
• On-site drug screening required with comprehensive panel testing
• All documentation must be completed 3 business days prior to start date
• Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted
