A health services organization in New York City is looking to add a licensedChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their growing Inpatient team in the Bronx.In this role, theChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for theevaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients under 18 years of age whose primary diagnosis is a psychiatric disorder.

- Hours:8:30am to 10:30pm (28 hours a week)

TheChild & Adolescent Psychiatrist will be responsible for:
- Admission and discharge of patients, including psychiatric examination, evaluation and assessment
- Facilitatinggroup/family education and therapy
- Ordering suicide precautions
- Providingtreatment of children and adolescents, including individual, supportive, behavioral, cognitive and insight oriented therapy
- Ordering laboratory tests or diagnostic assessments, including consultation with medical specialty providers
- Performing first aid and medical triage, including initial physical examination on new admissions
- Performingother duties, as needed
- 1+ year of Clinical Child & Adolescent Psychiatry after fellowship
- Licensed to practice in the State of New York
- Board Eligible Certified inChild & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Valid National Provider Identification Number (NPI)
- Valid Federal Narcotics Number (DEA Number)
- Enrolled in CMS and remain an unconditional participating provider in the Medicare and Medicaid OPRA programs
