Full-time, day-shift role in a respected Bay Area pediatric practice with market-adjusted pay. LVN (Pediatrics) – Full-time, 8-hr days (08:00–17:00), Orinda, CA. Permanent staff position supporting providers in clinical and admin tasks; 40 hrs/week. Hourly pay $38.41–$51.85 (adjusted if outside Bay Area). - CA LVN license (BVNPT) required - BLS (AHA) required - Completion of LVN/LPN program required - 2+ years LVN experience preferred (physician office/pediatrics preferred) - EPIC EMR experience preferred

Job Description:The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) works with the providers and other members of the health care team performing a variety of clinical and administrative patient-related duties. The LVN also works to fulfill a variety of patient needs and ensures smooth work flows within the practices.
Performs selected patient care and administrative functions as designated by the Provider / Site Manager or Supervisor. Provides backup clinical and administrative support to the Medical Assistants, call center, schedulers and reception.

Education:

  • Completion of Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse Program - Required

Experience:

  • 2 years Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Preferred, preferably in a Physician office setting

Certifications/ Licensure:

  • LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse - California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians - Required

  • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required

Skills:

  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

  • Prior EPIC EMR experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, systems and objectives.

  • Ability to deal professionally with all types of individuals under stressful situations.

Work Shift:08.0 - 08:00 - 17:00 No Waive (United States of America)

Pay Range:

$38.41 - $51.85Hourly
Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.
Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.
