Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide comprehensive care across antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery units in a rural hospital setting. This role involves approximately 20-30 deliveries per month and requires a nurse who can work independently while supporting a high standard of patient- and family-centered care. OB circulator experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and nursery patients.
- Monitor fetal status using stable and intermediate fetal monitoring techniques.
- Respond to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
- Document patient care accurately in EMR (CPSI/Evident).
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Active state RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Stable Fetal Monitoring certifications required.
- Additional certifications: PALS, ATT, and other OB-related credentials preferred.
Additional Information:
- Day shift, 12-hour schedule.
- Holiday coverage may be required.
