- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,990 - $2,130 per week
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois or compact state (Illinois nursing jobs)
- At least 1 year of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or stepdown setting
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficient in managing dysrhythmias, cardiopulmonary conditions, sepsis, and high-flow oxygen therapy
- Experience with IV drip medications: dopamine, levophed, cardizem, heparin, precedex, nitro, amio, dobutamine, nicardipine
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in a 24-bed PCU stepdown unit
- Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions, including advanced cardiac monitoring and IV drips
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse educators, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using Allscripts - Sunrise EMR system
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and their families
- Work every other weekend as needed
