Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist with a valid MA license and AHA BLS certification for a weekday assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work primarily in an outpatient sports medicine setting with occasional hospital shift coverage as needed
- Four 10-hour shifts scheduled weekdays, typically starting between 8:00-8:30 am and ending at 4:30 pm
- Patient population includes year-round residents and seasonal visitors
- EPIC is used for charting and documentation
- Shared housing is provided at no cost to the traveler
- RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for vaccine requirements
- Dress code and scrubs not specified; candidates should be prepared for outpatient and occasional hospital settings
- Local candidates must have permanent residence at least 60 miles from downtown Boston to qualify for the standard rate
- Parking may incur costs at certain locations
Requirements
- Valid Massachusetts PT license required at time of consideration; MA conditional licenses are not accepted
- Active AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
- Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations required with no exemptions permitted
- References required for consideration
