RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in a 16-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit on 3rd floor
• Maintain 2:1 patient ratio (2 patients per 1 RN)
• Both day and night shifts have 1 CNC and 2:1 nurse to patient ratio
• Required to work 2 weekend shifts biweekly
• No on-call responsibilities
• Float to Medical ICU, Neuro Surgical ICU, and Cardiac PCU as needed
• Must have 2 years of critical care experience (adult ICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any critical care specialty)
• Ventilator experience and Art/Central line/Chest tube management skills required
• CVICU specific experience, CABG recovery, CRRT, and Impella experience preferred
• BSN and CCRN certification preferred
• Work with equipment including GE monitors, EV 1000, Hemispheres, CRRT (NextStage), Impella, Swan Ganz, Art lines, chest tubes, and ventilators
• Use Meditech EMR system (experience preferred)
• Perform hemodynamic monitoring, Swan Ganz, Art lines, and chest tube procedures
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs
• Must be a team player who works well with collaborative care
