Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified MedSurg RN for a fast-paced 34-bed unit specializing in managing acute medical-surgical patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical skills, adaptability, and dedication to providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, ensuring high standards of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Assist in managing complex patient conditions and administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
- Implement and adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a MedSurg setting.
- Current BCLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
- West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license acceptable).
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records is preferred.
- Previous charge experience is a plus.
