High-volume CV surgery caseload with diverse advanced procedures and flexible locum schedule. Locum Cardiovascular Surgeon, Minneapolis area; M-F 7a-5p with 1-in-3 call weeks (day, overnight 5p-7a, weekend 24-hr); ASAP start; float pool coverage; hospital setting; predominately routine CABG and valve cases with extensive advanced case mix. - MN medical license or IMLC participation - Experienced CV surgeon with high-volume CABG/valve experience - Comfortable with advanced procedures (TAVR, LVAD, transplant, lead extraction) - Availability for specified shift and call rotation

Hospital is seeking Locum Cardiovascular Surgeon to provide float pool coverage starting ASAP - M-F 7a-5p - 1 in 3 call week rotation - Call weeks include day shift, overnight (5p-7a) and weekend 24 call - Predominately Routine Cases - CABs, Valves etc. - CABs/Valves/etc: 250 Standbys: - TAVR: 200 - Clips: 100 - Lead extractions: 35 Procedures include: - Aortic aneurysms - Aortic dissections - Atrial fibrillation surgery - Cardiac valve repair and replacement - Carotid endarterectomy - Congenital heart surgery - Coronary artery bypass surgery - Esophageal surgery (minimally invasive) - Heart failure surgery - Heart transplant surgery - Left ventricular assist device (LVAD) surgery - Lung surgery - Minimally invasive and robotic heart surgery - Thoracoscopic surgery - Required: MN license or IMLC
