Job Details:

• Work in the Interventional Radiology Lab providing care to both acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations
• Staff available 24/7 for emergency procedures during off hours, weekends, and holidays
• On-call requirement: 1 night per week
• Weekend requirement: 1 weekend every 7 weeks
• Previous IR experience required
• Experience with adolescent through geriatric patient population required
• Experience with procedural sedation, circulation, and recovery phase required
• Float required to Cardiac Cath Lab
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Current New York license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• EMR systems: Cerner and McKesson
• Hospital provided scrubs for dress code
• Perform angiograms of multiple systems, peripheral revascularization, hemodialysis catheter placement and maintenance
• Handle nephrostomy drainage tubes, gastrostomy and jejunostomy tube placement and maintenance
• Assist with central line placement, vascular access including port placement, pain management interventions
• Support paracentesis/thoracentesis procedures and pre/post-care for renal, liver, and lung biopsies
• Participate in carotid stenting procedures

The facility operates as a Level I Trauma center and provides comprehensive interventional radiology services through an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians, registered clinical nurses, and registered radiology technologists. The organization maintains 24/7 emergency procedure capabilities and serves both acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations with advanced interventional radiology services.
