Overview:
As a Manufacturing Production Technician, you will play a vital role in the safe and efficient production of quality materials. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing and transport equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and supporting continuous improvement through safety and performance initiatives. This position supports both production and logistics operations, contributing to the delivery of finished goods and raw materials throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:

Champion a safety-first culture, actively ensuring a safe work environment.

Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and compliance standards.

Operate and program a variety of manufacturing equipment including presses, setters, pickers, and scales.

Load and unload materials using tram cabs, forklifts, and other machinery.

Handle material transport to and from presses, ovens, and storage (e.g., kiln cars, pallets, racks).

Perform SMS charting and process variable analysis to maintain optimal production.

Conduct minor preventative maintenance or collaborate with maintenance teams on repairs.

Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA standards.

Participate in daily production meetings and reports.

Work independently or collaboratively, following both detailed and broad instructions.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Previous forklift experience required

Working knowledge of basic OSHA/safety standards

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
Compensation & Terms:
