American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced in ordering and handling radioactive sources and administering nuclear stress tests.
Responsibilities- Role based in a radiology department with responsibility for nuclear medicine procedures
- Nuclear medicine performed 2 days per week with 1 day dedicated to stress tests
- Flexible Monday through Friday schedule, typically 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no weekends or call required
- Open to alternative scheduling arrangements, including limited days per week
- Primary duties include performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures and stress tests
- Responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating imaging equipment, and providing patient care and education
- Assists with quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and inventory control
- Expected to maintain confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards
- Opportunities to provide instruction to students or other healthcare professionals
- Certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB required
- North Dakota state licensure required if applicable
- BLS CPR certification required
- Completion of Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training in accordance with department orientation
- 1 to 2 years of nuclear medicine experience required
- Previous travel assignment experience preferred
