Supportive Team Environment: Collaborate with three additional permanent oncology providers and benefit from a supportive team within the facility. What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive consultations and examinations for patients with blood disorders and cancer. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to ensure accurate diagnoses. Manage patient care throughout the treatment process, providing ongoing support and education. Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Aria electronic medical records system. Who You Are: Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with board eligibility in Hematology and Oncology (required). Current and active license to practice medicine in Virginia (required). BLS and ACLS certifications (required). A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize patient care in a busy outpatient setting.
