Part-time Maintenance Level I/Apprentice responsible for basic repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in a distribution center; also performs building maintenance and works as part of a maintenance team. Requires minimal maintenance experience, basic mechanical knowledge, good communication, time management, problem-solving skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent. **This is a part-time role with flexible hours on weekends**
The Maintenance Apprentice will be responsible for making basic repairs and maintenance to existing equipment.
\tEssential Duties and Responsibilities
• Participates in the RTG Safety Programs and proactively upholds the RTG Safety Culture
• Repair and install all types of
\t\tmachinery and mechanical equipment while observing all applicable RTG Safety
\t\tPolicies and Procedures
• Perform equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting of equipment problems in an \t\t\t\t accurate and efficient manner
• Perform repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as assigned
• Performing building maintenance as required
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Train to perform industrial mechanical repairs and gain
knowledge about hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Work as a part of the maintenance team

• \t\tGood verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to listen, understand, follow directions, and learn the mechanical systems
in the distribution center.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with coworkers.
• Ability to follow the company policies and procedures.
• Ability to meet or exceed production standards.
• Ability to handle equipment safely.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Minimal maintenance experience
• Basic mechanical knowledge
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
