Responsibilities:
- Lead patient care by diagnosing and treating allergy and immunology conditions.
- Obtain detailed medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and interpret diagnostic results.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, including patient education on managing allergies and immunological disorders.
- Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate laboratory and diagnostic procedures.
- Provide ongoing patient follow-up, monitor outcomes, and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record.
- Collaborate with clinical staff, oversee patient interactions, and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and quality benchmarks.
- Participate in on-call coverage, including nights and weekends.
- Supervise clinical staff, including nurses, assistants, and interns.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Fellowship in allergy and immunology
- Board certification in Allergy and Immunology.
- NYS licensure required.
- Demonstrated experience in allergy and immunology, preferably within a group practice setting.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
