The role involves pre-operative assessments, intraoperative anesthesia administration, and post-operative pain management within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Anesthesiology, hold appropriate licensure, and possess relevant certifications such as PALS and ACLS.
Anesthesiology Physician needed in Michigan We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Anesthesiology Physician to join our esteemed medical team near Whittemore, Michigan, a 324-bed facility offering full-spectrum surgical and specialty care, including Level II trauma services and 24-hour emergency coverage. Position Highlights Location: a vibrant, family-friendly city ranked among the Top 15 Dreamtowns in the U.S. Facility: 324-bed regional referral hospital located on a 225-acre wooded campus Schedule: Full-time with flexible scheduling Call Rotation: 1:8 with post-call day off Patient & Procedure Mix: Full-scope anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic cases Volume: Over 18,000 surgical cases performed in 2023 Responsibilities Conduct pre-operative assessments Administer anesthetics and monitor patients intraoperatively Provide post-operative pain management and care Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes Qualifications MD or DO degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency Eligible for unrestricted Michigan medical license and Controlled Substance License PALS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) Compensation & Benefits Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience Paid malpractice with tail coverage Full benefits package including: Health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance 403(b) with employer contributions and 457(b) tax-deferred retirement plans CME allowance and paid time off for CME Vacation, personal, and sick leave If you are looking to advance your career in a state-of-the-art medical facility, we encourage you to apply.
