What You'll Be Doing
- Operate ready-mix truck safely to deliver concrete to job sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Manage concrete slump adjustments and ensure proper mix during delivery.
- Maintain accurate delivery tickets and communicate with dispatch.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
What Are We Looking For
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements for ready-mix operations.
- Strong focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Ability to operate and maneuver large vehicles in varied conditions.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable and detail-oriented in completing tasks and documentation.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
