Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Medical Imaging Tech III with 2+ years of recent specialty experience and Epic EMR proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Work in a dedicated catheterization laboratory
- Procedures involve cardiac catheterization and related imaging studies
- Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- No blocked scheduling is permitted
- Competency testing may be required, with two attempts permitted
- Requests for time off must be submitted during application
- More than three call outs in a 13-week contract may result in termination and make-up shifts are required within six weeks
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from specified counties
- Only one position application permitted per traveler
- Travel pairs are not allowed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
- Active NYS Medical Imaging Technologist license required if applicable
- Certifications from AHA or RQI are required
- Experience with Epic EMR is mandatory
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number is required for consideration
- Medical exemptions for influenza vaccination must be signed by a licensed professional
