Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse works under the direction and supervision of the Physician or patient care provider and the general direction of the Practice Manager, in accordance with the objectives, policies, and procedures of the practice. This role involves providing care to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics, and effectively interacting with patients and healthcare team members while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to cardiology patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Conduct patient assessments and collaborate with healthcare providers for optimal care delivery.
- Assist in clinical procedures and patient education regarding treatment plans and health management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records through data entry.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current New York State Licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Cardiology experience preferred.
- PC/CRT data entry experience preferred.
