RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in 44-bed Progressive Care Unit on K7 floor of K Tower
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratio at grid, 5:1 when stretched
• Work every other weekend
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must have neuro and trauma care experience
• Neuro and trauma care experience preferred
• Float to stepdown units and med-surg units as needed
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Perform neuro and spinal checks, C-collar placement, TLSO braces
• Manage chest tubes, PCA pumps, IV infusions, lumber drains
• Handle feeding tube placement and blood transfusions
• Work with equipment including IV pumps, Skylift, PCA pumps, chest tubes, trachs, and patient lifts
• Use Cerner EMR system
• Must be a team player with patient-focused approach
