Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient-focused assignment requiring a valid MA license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is primarily outpatient (90%) with some acute care (10%), but outpatient-only candidates will be considered
- Work takes place in a sports medicine physical therapy unit serving a diverse population including seasonal visitors
- Flexible schedule options are available, including 10-hour weekday shifts with the option of a half-day on Saturday
- Shift hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some shifts starting as early as 7:00 am
- EPIC EMR is used for charting and documentation; EPIC experience is preferred
- Shared housing is provided at no cost
- Responsibilities center on outpatient sports medicine care with occasional acute care coverage
- Team serves both year-round residents and a large seasonal patient population
- Two professional references are required for consideration
- No cost shared housing is offered as part of the assignment
- Parking availability and costs may vary by location
- A valid MA license must be verified prior to start
- Timekeeping is managed via UKG/Kronos system
Requirements
- Current, valid MA Physical Therapist license required; MA conditional licenses are not accepted (license required if applicable)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent PT experience
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required
- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
- Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
