We are seeking a skilled Invasive-Interventional Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment in a beautiful area of Utah, near Richmond. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide coverage in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Utah (near Richmond, UT)
- Start Date: January 20, 2025
- End Date: March 31, 2025
- Shift Times: Various shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on specified dates
- January 20th to February 1st
- February 10th to February 17th
- March 10th to March 17th
- March 24th to March 31st
- Coverage Needed: ER call coverage for interventional cardiology, including primary and interventional call 24/7
- Patient Volume: Approximately 12 patients per day
- Special Skills Needed:
- Expertise in interventional cardiology
- Proficiency in echocardiography, including Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
Key Features of the Role:
- Facility Type: 238-bed facility
- Support Staff: 3-person, 24/7 call team
- Lab Staffing: Two labs staffed Monday to Wednesday, one lab staffed Thursday and Friday
- EMR Systems Used: Epic, Meditech, Merge MUSE
- Call Requirements: Must be available for interventional cardiology call around the clock during the assignment dates
Qualifications:
- Valid Utah medical license required (no exceptions)
- Strong background in invasive interventional cardiology
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with various support staff
- Comfortable working with Epic and Meditech EMR systems
