Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent ED experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
- Night shifts are 7:00pm to 7:30am, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Assignment is 13 weeks in length
- Patients include a diverse ED population
- Traveler is required to work at least every other holiday
- Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests, both requiring acceptable scores
- Qualivis – Lotus system will be used for submitting hours worked
- Assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month break required before returning
- Must provide at least two references for consideration
- Holiday coverage is required for at least every other holiday
Requirements
- Active OH or compact RN license in hand
- Minimum 18 months of recent Emergency Department experience
- At least 18 months of permanent specialty experience prior to travel
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification is preferred
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate testing required during orientation
