Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a KY or compact license and current AHA certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Operating Room setting
- Day shifts from 6:30am to 7:00pm
- Thirteen-week contract assignment
- Patient population and case types reflect a hospital surgical environment
- Participation in onsite CPI training is provided
- Assignment in a hospital surgical team environment
- All holidays and scheduling must comply with hospital requirements
- Internal RNs and local candidates are not accepted for this travel position
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent OR experience required
- Current AHA certifications required and must not expire during assignment
- NIHSS certification required prior to start
- CPI training required for all RNs and may be completed onsite
- Must be fully vaccinated for Flu and COVID-19 with documentation
- Candidates cannot have any disciplinary actions on their nursing license
- Gaps in work history of 3 months or more require explanation
- Must provide US Social Security Number
- No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius
