Float across four metro hospitals with a faith-based, nonprofit system. Part-time Registered Nurse II, NICU CSOT2; day shift, 24 hrs/week; rotate weekends/holidays; work across four Kansas City metro hospital entities; ongoing/indeterminate. - 2 years applicable NICU RN experience - RN license (MO, NURSYS) - Associate Degree in Nursing - BLS (AHA or Red Cross) and NRP (AAP) - Ability to float across multiple hospitals

Job Description

• Part -time Registered Nurse II CSOT2 NICU
• Day shift
• 24 hours per week
• Rotate weekends/holidays
• Floats to all four metro hospital entities

Accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Responsible for performing patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff. Responsible for coordinating the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This clinical nurse demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and procedures. Tier 2 will work at four metro hospital entities.

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - American Academy of Pediatrics, Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
