Urgent need for Multiple Locums Anesthesiologists in Eastern Pennsylvania

Location: Berks County, about 60 miles NW of Philadelphia

Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient; 720 bed hospital with 24 ORs

Start Date: ASAP; as soon as credentialed

End Date: Ongoing (while looking for long term, permanent providers; candidates could be considered)

Coverage: Scheduled hours only; NO CALL, full-time; ongoing

• 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts available, all daytime shifts
• All days are needed Sunday through Saturday
• Provider should offer their preference for schedule duration, days and shifts.

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania license
• BE/BC Anesthesiologist
• Clean DEA & NPDB (no current suits, unresolved cases, large payouts)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS

• Treat all ages: 1-geriatric

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

Required Skills: Trauma, Open Heart, Complex Ortho, Pain management, Post-op epidural & extremity blocks, epidural steroid for lumbar & cervical, x-ray guided blocks, central line & PA Cath placement

Preferred Skills: General Anesthesia, Adult, Neonatal, Spinal, epidural, regional , OB, Neuro Head & Spine, Thoracic, Complex Vascular, Transforaminal Lumbar and Cervical, Vent Management, Eval/Management of acute volume/BP issues, Arterial line placement, CRNA supervision

EMR: Epic (Please advise as to you experience using Epic)

Volume: high volume

Support staff: Anesthesiologists, LPNs, Nursing Staff, administrative staff, Anesthesia techs, 3 NPs
