We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist for a locum to permanent position in a leading hospital facility in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hospital-based coverage while performing inpatient procedures and consultations.
- Conduct 3-4 outpatient procedures daily, including ERCP, and preferably EUS.
- Participate in a 24-hour call rotation from 7 AM to 7 AM.
- Utilize the Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and data management.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
- Must be interested in a locum to permanent position.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency.
- Active Iowa License or IMLC required.
- ACLS certification is required.
- Must be able and willing to work inpatient.
- ERCP skills are required; EUS skills are highly preferred.
- COVID vaccine compliance is required.
- Clean malpractice and background check.
License and Certification Requirements:
