Job Details:
• Minimum 1 year experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes adults to geriatrics
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with 32 rooms and average daily census of 29
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Floating required
• No call requirements
• Must work holidays if they fall during assignment period
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• 36-hour orientation required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred, NIHSS preferred
• Must have Epic charting system experience
• Required skills include isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac, nasal cannula, high flow nasal cannula, chest tubes, starting IVs, PICC line management, blood product administration, feeding tube care and management
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Full compliance required to start on time
• Georgia or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
