Job Summary

A manufacturing facility in Lenoir, NC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inspector for a temp-to-hire opportunity on 1st shift. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong eye for detail who are looking for a long-term career in quality inspection and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished and in-process products to ensure quality and accuracy

• Verify products meet company and customer specifications

• Identify defects, damage, or non-conforming materials

• Place questionable products on hold and report issues to production or supervision

• Accurately document inspection results and findings

• Support quality and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Previous inspection or manufacturing experience preferred, but not required

• Strong attention to detail and quality focus

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Basic computer or documentation skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods

• Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks
