Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans• Multiple locations available throughout Missouri including Cape Girardeau, St. Joseph, Mountain Grove, Butler, Farmington, Licking, Sedalia, Poplar Bluff, Rolla, St. Louis, and Kennet• Flexible schedule options - work between 1-4 days per week depending on location• Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours)• One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments• Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing• No prescribing or treatment responsibilities• Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)• Requires active and unrestricted full Missouri license• Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified• Suitable specialties include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with a background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension• Provider must have their own office for some locations (50 miles radius required)• Administrative follow-up work required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics)• Local candidates preferred as travel is included in rates
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
