ICU RN Job Details- Location: Indianapolis, IN 46237 (Indiana nursing jobs)
- Healthcare Setting: 16-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Unit
- Contract Duration: 13-week travel contract (Start: 12/1/2025 – End: 3/2/2026)
- Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680 - $1800
- Employment Type: Travel RN contract
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs (nursing top required)
- Minimum 5 years of RN experience; ICU nursing experience strongly preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Indiana or compact state)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Proficient in ventilator management
- Skilled in titrating critical medications and interpreting ECGs
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Ability to float to step-down, Telemetry, and other ICU-level units
- Completion of required educational modules prior to start date
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients, including those with cardiogenic shock, respiratory failure, renal failure, and post-PCI
- Manage ventilator patients and titrate medications as needed
- Interpret ECGs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Float to related units (step-down, Telemetry, ICU-level) as required
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
