Emergency Medicine
to join a supportive team at a Critical Access Hospital in Onamia, MN. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care across a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Schedule & Shift Details: Coverage: Scheduled shifts with no call Shifts: Day, Swing, Nights, and Weekends Typical shifts include:
Mid-shift starting around noon (8, 9, or 10-hour options available) Open to 12-hour day or night shifts (8a–8p / 8p–8a)
Schedule: Monday–Sunday Flexible scheduling for the right candidate Facility Details: Critical Access Hospital (57 beds) Trauma Level IV ED with 7 rooms and 2 trauma bays Volume: 20–30 patients per day Patient Population: All ages (pediatrics through geriatrics) Support:
24/7 MD support onsite or within 5 minutes Additional PA coverage during mid shifts Backup via Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine MDs, telemedicine (cardiology & stroke) Onsite ambulance transfers and helipad access
Responsibilities: Provide emergency care to patients of all ages Perform emergency procedures including bedside ultrasound Work collaboratively with physicians and support staff Manage a variety of acute and urgent conditions Requirements: Active Minnesota PA license (required) Board Certification required Minimum 3 years of Emergency Medicine experience Emergency ultrasound experience required Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS or CALS Preferred: PALS, APLS DEA required
