What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and/or other access points to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or unusual activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required by site protocols.
Remain alert and attentive to surroundings while performing all assigned duties, adapting to varying work environments and conditions as required by the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
