We are currently seeking dedicated Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our esteemed practice near Grant, FL, on a locum tenens basis. As an integral part of the community and the primary hospital provider, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality emergency care in a smaller, yet fully equipped setting.
Emergency Department Features
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Annual ER Visits: 29,000
- ED Beds: 11, including 3 fast-track
- Admission Rate: 20%
- Physician Coverage: 24 hours
- APP Coverage: 24 hours
- Active Partnership: Collaborative arrangement with a sister facility nearby for trauma cases
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (EM)
- Alternatively, Board Certified in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) with significant EM experience
- Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Minimum of 24 months of current Emergency Room experience
