Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery RN with a WV or compact RN license and advanced certifications for a hospital-based position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit
• Patient ratio is 1:3
• Day shifts available: 3x12 or 4x12 hours; may require call depending on census
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Blocked scheduling is available
• Use of Cerner EMR is preferred
• Navy blue scrubs required
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Make-up shifts are required for any missed shifts during the same work week or pay period
• Must clock in and out for payment compliance
• References required at time of consideration
• Permanent home address must be provided upon consideration

Requirements

• Active WV or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
• AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN
• Flu vaccine required during October–March; declinations not accepted
• Must live more than 75 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
• Previously employed permanent staff must wait 2 years before eligibility as a traveler
