Qualifications for a Nurse Practitioner
Active Nurse Practitioner license (or eligible) in Ohio
National board certification (AANP or ANCC; aligned with patient population)
Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred for some settings)

Strong assessment skills, patient communication, and comfort managing common acute and chronic conditions
