Annual ER Volume: 80,000
Percentage of ED Patients Admitted: 35%
Total Number of Beds: 617
Documentation System/EMR: Epic
OR Staff: Full complement of experienced professionals
Patient Demographics: Primarily adult and geriatric patients, with occasional child/adolescent cases

Required Procedures:

Trauma Cases: Adult, Geriatric, Penetrating, and Blunt Trauma
Chest Tube Insertion
Laparoscopic Procedures:
- Appendectomy
- Cholecystectomy

Candidate Requirements:

Board Certification: Required in Trauma Surgery
State License: Active Connecticut license required
Certifications: ACLS and DEA required
Local Candidates: Must be local; only mileage reimbursement is offered
