Registered Nurse – Team Lead (Occupational Health)

Reporting to the Plant Safety Manager, you will serve as the sole Registered Nurse onsite and provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for occupational health services at a manufacturing location. You will independently manage and lead daily occupational health operations, lead injury prevention and wellness initiatives with our onsite provider Fit for Work, and partner cross-functionally to promote employee wellbeing, regulatory compliance, and a safe, healthy workplace.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Serve as the sole onsite Registered Nurse responsible for daily occupational health operations
- Lead occupational health services, injury response, and employee health support
- Lead injury prevention, health promotion, and wellness initiatives aligned with site and company goals
- Provide first aid, emergency care, stabilization, and coordination of offsite medical treatment as needed
- Conduct required health assessments and surveillance, including post-hire and return to work evaluations, injury and illness assessments, respirator and hazardous materials surveillance, drug and alcohol testing, and audiometric testing
- Coordinate restricted duty accommodations and return to work / light duty situations with Human Resources and Operational leadership
- Administer and oversee workers’ compensation cases, documentation, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration recordkeeping
- Analyze injury and illness data to identify trends and recommend corrective and preventative actions
- Conduct routine plant walkthroughs to support restricted duty compliance and injury prevention
- Manage occupational health supplies, equipment, and personal protective equipment
- Analyze data to develop and implement long and short-term plans to address ergonomic and repeated injuries in the plant
- Train and educate employees and leaders on health initiatives, wellness programs, and safety requirements
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee health information
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment
- Associate’s degree in Nursing or a health related field; bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably in occupational health, emergency care, or industrial settings
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and workplace health programs
- Strong problem solving, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with computers and healthcare documentation systems
- Experience preparing reports and maintaining detailed medical records
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and First Aid Instructor certification, or willingness to obtain

You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary.

Compensation
Pay Range:$63,000-$93,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
