The Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner at CHI Memorial Hospital provides inpatient care to adult patients, diagnosing and treating chronic diseases, ordering diagnostic tests, and assisting physicians during rounds, admissions, and discharges. This role requires a master's degree in nursing, certification as a Nurse Practitioner, and relevant clinical experience in acute or primary care settings. Required Education and Experience
- Master's degree in nursing
- 3-5 years clinical nursing practice in an acute care setting required.
- 1-3 years previous experience as a NP in an acute or primary care setting or equivalent RN experience
- Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Certificate of fitness through American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
- Licensed as an RN in the state of TN/GA
- Licensed as a CRNP in state of TN
- AHA BLS certification
