Exciting Opportunity for Medical Director Carolina Needed in North Carolina! Approximately 2 hours from Cary! Are you a physician with a solid foundation in primary care? We are seeking a part-time Medical Director to oversee post-acute clinical care at a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility near Cary, North Carolina. This flexible leadership role is perfect for physicians with backgrounds in primary care, geriatrics, hospice, palliative care, or internal medicine who are seeking autonomy, leadership opportunity, and a highly customizable schedule just 1 2 days per week with 6 8 hour workdays. Key Responsibilities: Deliver medical care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. Mentor and supervise collaborating providers to ensure high-quality care. Ensure timely response to acute needs and accurate documentation of care. Comply with and implement regulatory guidelines effectively. Participate in monthly leadership meetings to contribute to facility strategy and improvements. Candidate Qualifications: Physicians trained in: Family Medicine (FM), Internal Medicine (IM), Adult Medicine Post-Acute Care (PAC), Hospice, Palliative Care Home Health, Geriatric, or Hospital Medicine Position Highlights: Flexible schedule with one or two days per week.
