JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active Texas license required
- Board Certification: NP ANCC or AANP; PA NCCPA
- DEA: Active DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP
- Experience: ED/ER experience preferred
- Other Qualifications: Competent with T-System documentation; ability to work 12-hour shifts and function independently in a Level IV ED
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct Emergency Department patient care within scope of practice
- Perform evaluations, treatments, and procedures appropriate to credentialing
- Participate in formal triage system and support ED workflow
- Coordinate patient care with specialty backup and hospital services
- Accurately document all patient encounters in T-System
- Collaborate with nursing staff and scribes to ensure efficient throughput
