Caring Dental Arts is a private family and cosmetic dental practice in Newport News, VA, looking for a full-time or part-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are passionate about providing caring, gentle, evidence-based comprehensive dental care in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Schedule

• Full-time or part-time available
• Flexible scheduling, up to 32 hours per week
• Dedicated lunch hour

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide quality care including adult/child prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, sealants, and fluoride treatments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Conduct initial screenings and assessments
• Maintain accurate records in Eaglesoft (training available if needed)
• Administer local anesthetic if licensed
• Collaborate with our team to promote excellent patient experiences

Requirements

• Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Active Virginia Dental Hygiene license
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar practice software (training provided if needed)
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and committed to patient care
• New graduates welcome!
