Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced PICU RN with a MA license and required certifications for a rotating day/night assignment.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital
- Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts are required
- Assignment includes working every third weekend and participating in holiday rotation
- Pre-start and orientation modules are required and tracked in Workday
- Modules must be completed both prior to starting and during orientation
- RNs with prior issues on nursing license are not eligible
- RN candidates must live at least 200 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration
- Holiday and every third weekend coverage is expected
Requirements
- Active MA RN license in hand required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PICU RN experience required
- Must provide two references, one must be from a Nurse Manager or higher
- Must complete a pass/fail EKG test during orientation with one attempt only
- 3rd party education verification is required for consideration
