Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunities South Texas Coast Locations: near Beeville - Surrounding Coastal FacilitiesPositions Available: 13Start Date: ASAP 1-Year Commitment Required Overview We are actively seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our dedicated team across multiple facilities along the beautiful South Texas Coast, including Corpus Christi. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice high-acuity medicine in a dynamic environment that offers both professional growth and coastal living. Position Details Number of Positions: 13 Location: Various facilities in the South Texas Coast region, including Corpus Christi Specialty: Emergency Medicine Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.), with no on-call duties Start Date: As soon as possible Duration: 1-year commitment required Candidate Requirements Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine with Emergency Medicine fellowship Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience Proficiency in procedures such as intubations, central line placement, trauma management, and more Case logs required for credentialing Facility Information Bed Capacity: Rockport - 8 beds, Portland - 12 beds, Northwest - 15 beds Average Daily Census: Rockport - 45 patients, Portland and Northwest - 60 patients each Trauma Level: Northwest and Doctors are Level IV trauma centers; others handle high-acuity cases Support Staff: Includes Advanced Practice Providers (APP) with varying daily coverage Patient Demographics Rockport: Primarily elderly and winter Texans Northwest: Includes nursing home residents, elderly, and rural patients Portland: Mixed population with a younger demographic This role is perfect for experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians seeking to deliver high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
