Job Description
A Grants Pass, Oregon based client is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care in a multi-specialty group. Ideal candidates are collaborative, practice evidence-based care, excel as an individual and as a team member, and provide equitable care to all populations.
Required Qualifications
- OR license as a Nurse Practitioner
- Completion of an MSN and Family Nurse Practitioner program
- DEA certification
- CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients, in a community health center environment
- Perform therapeutic procedures, including preventative care and follow up
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services
- Chart review and document all patient encounters efficiently and according to organization policy and JCAHO standards
- Coordinates the preparation of reports and written documentation including medical records, as required by the department clinic, state and federal agencies
- Supervises Nurses and assistants in examining room and may serve as preceptor for team members
