Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management: Supervise at least one subordinate MSA team leader, supervisor, or equivalent support staff in a non-VA medical inpatient, outpatient, or interdisciplinary setting.
Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of subordinate staff and provide constructive feedback to foster growth and efficiency.
Problem Resolution: Tackle complex problems to ensure that patient services are delivered seamlessly and efficiently.
Operational Improvement: Assess new products, equipment, and systems, and make recommendations to enhance operations and patient care.
Training and Development: Identify the educational and training needs of staff, make hiring decisions, evaluate performance, and take disciplinary action when necessary.
Administrative Oversight: Plan, direct, and oversee the activities of subordinate leads, supervisors, and MSAs to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Extract and analyze data to generate reports for senior management, supporting the tracking and improvement of key performance measures.
Work Schedule:
Work schedules may vary based on the location and facility needs. Flexibility in the tour of duty is required as it is subject to change to meet the facility's operational requirements.
