Gyn Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Locums Job in GeorgiaJackson and Coker is seeking a Gynecologic Oncology APP for a locum tenens assignment in Georgia.
Assignment Details: Start Date: As soon as possible (credentialing timeline 90-120 days)
Duration: 4-6 months
Clinic Schedule:
-Clinic coverage 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday)
-Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Patient Volume in clinic: 15-18 patients per day
Practice Setting: Busy Gynecologic Oncology surgical practice with strong ambulatory clinic focus
Working Alongside: 1 Gynecologic Oncology physician
Call Responsibilities: Call Structure: shared call coverage between physician on staff and the APPs within the month and some weekends
Weekend Call Hours: Friday at 12:00 PM through Monday at 8:00 AM
Average Callbacks (24-hour period): 5-10
Rounding: APP typically rounds the day after surgeries are performed
Average Inpatient Census: 8-10 patients
Provider Requirements: APP Type: NP or PA considered
GYN Oncology experience required
Board certification not required
Schedule split between multiple APPs: Not preferred
Scope of Coverage: Inpatient rounding
Ambulatory clinic visits
Pelvic exams
Vulvar biopsies
Endometrial biopsies
